TRIMEDX
Header & Mega Menu System

Project Overview
About the Client
TRIMEDX is an industry-leading healthcare technology management company specializing in clinical asset management and medical device cybersecurity.
The Work
Following three years of growth after the launch of their original HubSpot site, TRIMEDX needed a more scalable mega menu system to improve content discoverability and support an expanding volume of site content. Through iterative collaboration with the client, the design team defined a new mega menu experience, which was then handed off for development.
What I Did
I led frontend development for a significant update to the existing mega menu, building a scalable solution with deep links and rich content. I refactored the header template to use a single main navigation <nav> element, calling the mega menu module once, which improved DOM efficiency and eliminated the need for editors to maintain duplicate content. The system supports up to three levels of navigation, with a flexible structure for a variety of content types and layouts.
A consistent focus in my HubSpot Content Hub development work is ensuring an intuitive editor experience. This approach enabled the client to populate the new mega menu content in a UAT staging environment without requiring a formal technical walkthrough, while I remained available to answer questions and make any needed adjustments. Once content staging was complete, I managed the production launch to push the changes live.
Beyond the header update, I enhanced the Team Repeater module by engineering custom CSS layout logic for centered orphan rows; these improvements were also deployed to the sister site, Centurion.com. I resolved script dependency issues caused by HubSpot platform security updates and advised stakeholders on how structural DOM changes impacted GTM triggers to ensure tracking continuity.
Technical Initiative & Leadership
After launch, the project extended beyond its original timeline due to stakeholder availability and the holiday season. Recognizing when key stakeholders returned, I proactively re-engaged the client to finalize their review of the deliverables and bring the project to a close. This follow-up was recognized by the Director and helped ensure a timely and smooth finish with high client satisfaction.
